Business Development – uPVC Specialist
KMM has a Job Opportunity for Business Development Specialist (Female only) who will interact with primarily with architects, project consultants, large contractors, builders, high net worth individuals, facility/purchase managers in hotels/schools/hospitals to influence the specification and purchase of uPVC Doors and Windows.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects (in this case architects with requirements for uPVC doors and windows) for their apartments, villas, and commercial spaces.
- Arrange meetings with Architects to give corporate presentations and recommend uPVC solutions after carefully understanding their requirements.
- Challenge any objections or concerns by clients with a view to promoting uPVC over other materials, and ensure close looping and getting the order/ ensure getting the deal.
- Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process, which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.
- Negotiate on price, cost, delivery and specifications with client and coordinate with KMM fabricators for timely deliverables.
- Assist architects/designers in writing specifications for uPVC Doors and Windows with an emphasis on gaining competitive advantage.
- Maintain continuous relationship with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Identify new ways to get the product specified by analyzing industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Record sales and order information and send copies to the sales office, or entering figures into a computer system.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards that have been set and templated.
- Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
- Responsible for growing the business - increasing/maintaining market share - by creating customer value and competitive advantages.
- Ensure an effective client engagement and build relationship to create an advantage for KMM over other competitors/ brands

Industry Experience:
- Customer relationships with large purchase department / decision makers of institutions will be a plus.
- Ability to understand and communicate Architectural requirements will be a plus.
- Experience in selling to architectural firms will be an advantage.
Experience and Qualification:
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business / communication discipline.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to effectively manage multiple relationships and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to plan effectively, short and long term.
- Must be proficient in working with Microsoft office applications.
